Aeson Baldevia

About Me

Aeson Baldevia is a multimedia artist hailing from Silay City, Philippines, holding degrees in AB Communication and BS Marketing Management, from the University of St. La Salle.

In 2017, Aeson achieved the remarkable distinction of being the sole Filipino finalist in the Celeste Art Prize, held in London, United Kingdom.

His exceptional talent has earned him numerous accolades, including the distinction of being the only four-time recipient of the Corps d'Elite award at the University of St. La Salle. He has also been recognized as the Best Campus Photoblogger and Photojournalist in Western Visayas.

Aeson's artistic creations have been featured in exhibitions across the globe, including Switzerland, Belgium, London, Japan, South Korea and Germany. 

Notably, he secured the third-place position in the FIBA International Photo Contest, with his work prominently displayed at the House of Basketball in Switzerland. In March 2023, Aeson was part of a sold-out group show under Orange Project during Art Fair Philippines. Recently, he was a part of a 13-man group show who had a month-long residency in Leipzig, Germany.

Presently, he works as as a freelance, documentary and fine art photographer, regularly participating in exhibitions hosted by various galleries throughout the Philippines. His work delves into the profound themes of human behavior, emotion, relationships, and the indomitable spirit of survival within one's environment.
